Eyes Series Fine Art Gallery

The Eyes Series began as my personal response to living in Jersey City during 9/11. I felt the rumble under my feet as the Twin Towers fell, and afterward I became focused on the strength and presence I saw in Muslim women around me. These works mix real people, imagined figures, and self‑portraits, all filtered through my own experience as a non‑Muslim artist. The series is about witnessing, empathy, and how a single gaze can hold fear, courage, and everyday life at once.
